I hope Spring proves a rejuvenating time for you, Rachel. I really enjoyed reading this post. Since you first shared those photos of the female hazel flower (back in December I think?!), I have been keenly looking out for them up here in North Yorkshire and on Monday, I finally saw one! And now I've seen loads! I suppose it stands to reason that things are a bit later in this neck of the woods. I can also understand how I'd missed them before, they are tiny and I am easily distracted by the catkins :0D I shall eagerly await violets now. Take good care <3
I’m well across the pond in the US in the state of Texas, but I thoroughly enjoyed experiencing your first hints of spring. Gorgeous writing & photographs! May you also experience a rejuvenation as the light returns and the season shifts into spring.

Fingers crossed the violets appear soon. It's lovely a track the appearance of things across the country.
I hope you are doing okay. Such wonderful photos!
Managing energy is such a tricky balance isn't it. 🙏❤️
Thank you, I'm a bit better than when I wrote this. Spring is definitely helping
Hope you're feeling better soon and hoping you get to get out into spring proper XX

Thank you so much, I imagine the seasons are very different for you, with very different plants too.
