Love that video and your little chat. It was so soothing and friendly. I liked that you described where you are, I could really visualise being there.

Thank you, that's what I was aiming for, wanted to give a full sensory picture, and as I had to film tucked out of the wind, I couldn't film the rockpools in detail.

It was perfect the way it was! Especially with the rock pool pictures 💙 And such a beautiful idea with the blue Friday too.

Thank you, it was gorgeous down there. I was glad it wasn’t already too stormy. I won’t be able to record like this tomorrow!

Making me think I should try to get down to listen to the waves for a few minutes today…

If you can, I do recommend it, it’s so lovely outside today, I was glad of my big furry hood though.

I’ve had some green therapy in the woods this morning and looked at the sea in a big distant view but your video right down there at rock pool level is making me want to get close up too. Think I’ll leave early for school pickup - especially if there’s a storm brewing!

Glad you got some green therapy already, but yes - go for a double dose and get some blue too, I think it’s supposed to be sunny here all day, the storm doesn’t arrive until tomorrow.

There's nothing quite like the sound of the sea, whatever its mood. I expect you will know it, but have you read Blue Mind by Wallace J Nichols? I enjoyed learning more about the science behind the good-feelings generated by experiencing water. Thanks for this post. The modern world can truly be a baffling, bewildering place at times.

Thank you, yes the sea it's so soothing. I do know Blue Mind, a friend of mine is also a blue space researcher and her book Blue Spaces includes a story about my connection to the sea. I'm so glad to have the sea so close.
