Hello, this is part of my 12 days of nature photos to bring a dose of nature joy to your inboxes during these btwixmas days. I’m sharing a photo taken in nature each day from 25th Dec through to the 6th January. No long commentary, just a little glimmer that I’ve noticed. To see previous days, head to my main page.
As I write this, the temperatures have risen slightly and the grey blanket returned, with more stormy winds forecast for tomorrow - our last day.
So, while I have just been out for a quick circuit of the wild cemetery, a frosted droplet in my garden has the honour of being today’s photo. Taken, again in my PJ’s as my tea was brewing, taking this photo required getting cold, frosted knees so I could down get to its level.
What have you noticed today? Do pop across to our chat thread to share. Tomorrow will be our last day - for now. I hope I can find something suitably awe inspiring, I’m sure I will, nature always delivers - you just have to look.
I hope you can get outside and find your own natural wonder, if not, I hope this bit of virtual nature has brought a bit of calm.
If you’d like to share a photo and join the conversation, head to my chat. You will need to be on the substack website, or the app. It’s lovely to see what people are noticing.
Happy Naturemas to you! Until tomorrow,
